| Bio: | I was an exchange student from August 2003 to July 2004 and spent a wonderful (sometimes tough) year in Austria. I am currently a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering at Youngstown State University. A year and a half ago I applied to the Air Force Academy in Colorado for a spot in the class of 2009, but was not accepted. I was thinking about reapplying for the class of 2010, but applied instead to go abroad for the summer of 2006. That fell through, though, but after the deadlines for the Academy, so now I'll miss out on both. That means I will be back at YSU for my junior year, and most likely won't be applying to the AFA again. I don't want to be a 22 year old freshman. I am still very intersted in getting in to the Air Force, though, so maybe I will join once I get my undergrad degree from YSU. I have a strong belief that everything happens for a reason, and that whatever is meant to be, will find a way to be. I once thought I had figured myself out, and then one day I realized I'd changed and didn't know who I was anymore. I was lost for a long while, and during that time did my best to find myself and figure out who I am, but then I realized it's an incredible, unending task. This journal helps me... it is mine, and I welcome anyone to read it. But if you come across something you don't like, just remember that we all have the right of free speech and that I am entitled to this right at all times.
